07:30 – Your adventure begins with a hotel pick-up and a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels.
09:00 – Watch a short documentary film to understand the remarkable history of the tunnel network. Then, dive into the fascinating underground world used by Vietnamese soldiers during the war: explore living quarters, trapdoors, field hospitals, and cleverly constructed handmade weapons.
10:15 – Enjoy a taste of wartime life with traditional tapioca and herbal tea, a humble yet iconic snack of the guerrilla fighters.
11:00 – Depart for My Tho in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy lunch on the way at a charming local restaurant.
13:30 – Arrive at the Mekong River and embark on a peaceful boat cruise to explore small islands. Savor fresh tropical fruits and relax to the sounds of Southern folk music performed by local artists.
14:30 – Visit a bee farm, sip on honey tea, try local coconut candy, and if you’re brave – hold a friendly python!
