5 Days Amazing Southern Vietnam Tour

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your driver and transferred by private van to your hotel for check-in (available from 14:00). Enjoy some free time to rest or explore the city at your leisure.

At 17:45, get a first glimpse of the city’s vibrant energy as we drive through the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City on the way to a traditional Water Puppet Show. This unique Vietnamese art form beautifully portrays daily rural life through puppetry, music, and storytelling. Though performed in Vietnamese, the expressive gestures and lively music make it an unforgettable experience for all visitors.

After the show, head to the riverside to board a Saigon River Dinner Cruise.

 Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner as you float past the city’s glittering skyline—an enchanting way to see Saigon by night.

After the cruise, you’ll return to your hotel. Tour concludes around 10:00 PM.

Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. 

On 8:00, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in the city center to begin your exploration of Ho Chi Minh City.

Start with a visit to the Independence Palace (Reunification Palace), an iconic landmark built on the site of the former Norodom Palace and designed by renowned architect Ngô Viết Thụ.

Next, admire the elegant architecture of the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, both striking remnants of French colonial influence.

Conclude the morning at the War Remnants Museum, home to powerful exhibits from the Indochina and Vietnam Wars.

After lunch, we head to the Cu Chi Tunnels (1.5-hour drive). Upon arrival, watch a short video about the tunnel’s history, then explore the underground network with your guide—featuring living quarters, kitchens, traps, and command centers.

Enjoy a taste of cassava and tea, the traditional guerrilla meal. Optional: try shooting at the nearby range.

After the tour, return to Ho Chi Minh City and transfer back to your hotel.

08:30 – Depart for My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang province.
10:00 – Arrive and take a boat ride to Unicorn Island. Explore local life along the river, enjoy tropical fruits, candies (seasonal), and traditional folk music.
11:30 – Ride a hand-rowed sampan through narrow canals, visit a coconut candy workshop, and take a horse-drawn carriage through village roads.
12:30 – Enjoy a delicious lunch of Mekong specialties (e.g., Tai Tuong fried fish, spring rolls, shrimp).
14:00 – Take a short bicycle ride through the village to see daily life.
15:00 – Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda on the return journey.
16:30 – Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City.

07:30 AM – Pick-up at your hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
Depart for Vung Tau via a scenic 2-hour drive through the countryside with guided commentary along the way.

09:30 AM – Arrive at Jesus Christ Statue
Climb 811 steps to reach the 32-meter statue atop Small Mountain. Enjoy sweeping 360° views from the top. Great photo opportunities.

11:00 AM – Visit Cape Nghinh Phong (Wind Welcoming Cape)
Walk along the cliffs, admire the coastal landscape, and snap photos with the giant anchor monument.

11:45 AM – Explore Bach Dinh (White Palace)
Tour this elegant French colonial mansion turned museum, rich in history and artifacts.

12:30 PM – Lunch at a local seafood restaurant
Enjoy a fresh seafood meal featuring regional specialties.

01:45 PM – Relax at Thuy Van Beach (Front Beach)
Swim, sunbathe, or take a beachside stroll on one of Vietnam’s most loved beaches.

03:00 PM – Visit Thang Tam (Whale) Temple
Discover local spiritual traditions and see preserved whale skeletons honoring the sea god Ca Ong.

03:30 PM – Depart for Ho Chi Minh City
Sit back and relax on the return drive.

05:30–06:00 PM – Drop-off at your hotel

Stay Overnight in Vung Tau. 

Enjoy some free time in the morning to relax or shop at your leisure before checking out of the hotel at 12:00. Afterwards, our driver will transfer you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your departure flight.
